You will receive an e-mail or letter with all the registration details in first half of March 2019 at the latest. Didn't provide an e-mail address? In that case, you will be notified by post. You will also be notified via the 'Inbox' in your application file.
Go to the school between 18 March and 5 April 2019 and register your child. You will find all the details in the place allocation notification.
Did your child get a place in its 1st school of choice? In that case, all the other options are cancelled. Does your child get a place in a school that was not its 1st choice? If so, your child gets a place in that school and an unfavourable ranking in the other schools of preference listed ahead of that school.
No places? In that case, go to the school between 18 March and 5 April 2019 and collect the "place application unsuccessful" document (weigeringsdocument) from the school or schools.
I have a place in a school that was not my 1st choice?
E.g.: your child gets a place in a school you listed in 3rd place.
Go to that school between 18 March and 5 April 2019 and register your child.
Your child will automatically get an unfavourable ranking in the schools you listed in 1st and 2nd place. You can collect a "place application unsuccessful" document (weigeringsdocument) from both these schools. This ensures that your child's name will be put on the waiting list and that you may still be offered a place if one becomes available, in which case the school will contact you.
If you do not collect a "place application unsuccessful" document, you will no longer enjoy priority if a place does become available at the school. Do bear in mind however that, in this case, you will only be able to register your child during the open registration round which commences on 23 May and provided the school has any places left.
The waiting list remains valid until 7 October 2019. For children born in 2017, the waiting list will remain valid until 30 June 2020.
